Section 2.1: How will you be assessed on this
From Research Methods in Psychology
You are likely to be tested on your knowledge of experiments in two different ways.
- As part of your practical work you will need to know how to design experiments and carry them out, and you will need to know the correct terminology to describe the experiments.
- As well as doing your own experiments, you might be asked to read about experiments that have been carried out, and then make a critical evaluation of those experiments. Of course, to know what a researcher might have done well or done wrong, you need to know how things should be done properly.
