• I've been blocking people furiously to try to stop the vandalism, I've added CAPTCHAs (those squiggly words you have to type in to edit or create an account) and I've stopped editing by anonymous users. All of those are a bit boring, because they make it less easy to edit, but they seem to be necessary. (Mumble and moan about 'this day and age') Jeremymiles 19:56, 10 November 2007 (CST)

• There's been an awful lot of vandalism just recently. I'm working on getting rid of it, and making it harder to vandalise in the future. Jeremymiles 10:23, 4 November 2007 (CST)

• I have uploaded and formatted all of the text from the book (57,857 words, in case you are interested.

• I have also added a little more - I have put in brief biographies of important or interesting people, and brief descriptions of books for further reading. I've made these into categories. There's almost nothing in there, and that's probably the next priority.

• For books, in particular, it would be better if people other than me who had thoughts would put something.

• There's a bit of formatting work to be done - there are things like sections in CAPITAL LETTERS, which look shouty.
